An introduction to Zero Trust architecture

The traditional security model guards the network perimeter like a castle: outside is dangerous, inside is trusted. But cloud, remote work and supply-chain attacks have invalidated that assumption.

The Zero Trust model rests on “never trust, always verify.” Every access request is re-evaluated based on identity, device and context, wherever it is on the network.

In practice this means strong authentication (MFA), least-privilege access and micro-segmentation.

Moving to Zero Trust is not buying a product but a gradual journey; starting with your most critical assets is the right approach.
